With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anne Deborah Lieberman (née Collins), known to her family as Dolly, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and dear friend. She passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Anne will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her. Married for 62 years to the love of her life, Bill, she treasured every moment spent with family and friends. Her home was always a place of warmth and hospitality, where family and friends loved to gather. More than anything, Anne believed in keeping her family connected. She was the heart that brought generations together, always encouraging closeness, celebrating milestones, and ensuring no one felt left behind. To Anne, family extended well beyond blood relatives—she embraced lifelong friends and those she welcomed into her life as family, offering them the same care, loyalty, and affection.

Anne was remarkably self-assured, fiercely independent, and one of the strongest people anyone who knew her had ever met. She faced life’s greatest challenges with extraordinary resilience, quiet determination, and unwavering dignity. Despite living with multiple sclerosis for many years, she rarely complained, choosing instead to focus on the people she loved and the life she cherished. Her courage, grace, and steadfast spirit inspired everyone around her.

She had a deep love of the performing arts, enjoyed playing cards and games, found pleasure in needle crafts, and cherished summers spent at the cottage. A lover of travel, she treasured her trips to Florida and beyond. Her years of volunteering with the National Council of Jewish Women reflected the generosity and compassion that defined her. Nothing brought her greater joy than watching her family grow, and she took immense pride in every one of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and the many people whose lives she enriched.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband, Bill; her daughters, Shari (Arthur) Nemirov, Pam (Gary) Bensimon, and Hilary (Michael) Tenenhouse; and her adored grandchildren, Harrison (Emma), Stephanie (Sam), Sarah (Greg), Adam (Alessia), Jonathan, Jordan, Calvin (Renee), Matthew, and Brandon. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Liam and Livvy, who brought her immeasurable joy.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Anne’s devoted caregivers, Myles, Jen, and Rosemary, whose extraordinary love, compassion, dedication, and unwavering support brought comfort, dignity, and companionship to Anne and her family. Their kindness and care will never be forgotten. The family also extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Alexa Goodbaum for her compassionate care and kindness, which brought comfort to Anne and her family.

Her greatest legacy is the close-knit family she nurtured, the traditions she created, and the love that will continue to bind them together for generations to come.

Shiva visits are welcome Tuesday following the internment at 9 Bannockburn Avenue continuing Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Friday 10am-noon. Evening services at 7:30 pm.

Lieberman cottage deck at Balfour Beach will be open to visit on Sunday August 9 10am- 12 noon.

Shiva/visitation will continue in Kingston at 34 Hillcroft Drive on Wednesday August 12, 7-9pm, Thursday August 13 2-4pm and 7-9pm  Friday August 14 at 10am ending at 12 noon.
