It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Malcolm Goldberg on October 13, 2026, age 91.

Malcolm was a devoted husband of almost 50 years to Gail (z’l) who passed away in 2012. Together they raised their four children, Ian, Clive, Jackie, and Lisa in a lively, loving, and hospitable home in Johannesburg, South Africa.

After emigrating, Malcolm built a full life in Thornhill and was deeply cherished by all who knew him. He was always calm, kind, and sincere. Integrity and graciousness were his strengths.

Malcolm and Hazel enjoyed 10 years together in his last decade and their relationship brought him a renewed energy and devotion. His many close friendships and community connections brought him enormous joy.

Malcolm will be deeply missed by his devoted children, Ian and Debbie, Clive and Hayley, Jackie and Barry and Lisa and Lance.  His 10 grandchildren, Talia (Shale), Danielle (Ethan), Jamie (Sam), Robyn, Davon, Kerren, Gemma, Natasha, Alex and Jessie made him a very proud grandfather. His 3 great grandchildren, Jonah, Eden, and Nora completed his life’s blessings.
