Avraham Raanani was born in Marisch-Ostrau, Czechoslovakia, on August 15, 1929. A devoted husband to his dear wife, Haya, z”l, and a wonderful father to his daughters Riva (David) and Naomi (Issie) who both took care of him until his last breath. He loved his grandchildren and their spouses Yitzi (Jenn), Eli (Leah), Yoshi (Rivka), Devorah (Jonathan) and their respective children. A special brother to his surviving and older sister, Priva, in Israel.

Special thanks to his many caregivers Radika, Manta, Maya, Kamala, Stella and especially to his Marina who he figuratively adopted as his third daughter.
