Goldie and I have no words to truly express the feelings we have after only today finding out about Ann’s passing. It was only yesterday that I sent you an email about getting together next week and letting you know the reason for our recent absence. Ann was always a stand out person who gave of herself no end. Her illness was always put aside when it came to you and your circle of friends. She was a woman of valour whose name stands for a blessing. Our sincerest condolences Goldie & Harvey.

To The Feld and Bernstein families: our sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Ahuva. She was always so enthusiastic to see friends and family; her kindness, sincerity, and genuine soul always shone through. May you be comforted by the many sweet memories that you have of her. BDE.

Mendy and boys, Bernstein siblings and family: BDE, I am heartbroken that you have all lost your beloved Ahuva, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great aunt. She was a lovely woman and I have so many memories harking back to Marilyn of Blessed Memory and her junior and senior kindergarten years as my son Yoni's classmate at Eitz Chaim School and the experience as kindergarten mother's that Ahuva and I shared and then the swim lessons at Frank's Swimming School that our kids also shared. The bar mitzvah Benchers for Yoni's milestone were beautifully printed by the Bernstein's company and Ahuva did some final checking with us and Mr and Mrs Bernstein Sr. were so kind and generous with their dealings with us and of course they were also beloved neighbours at 3000 Bathurst. Ahuva's brothers are gentle and kind gentleman and your wonderful sister-in-law, Susan (my landsman from Hamilton) is a huge credit to your combined Mishpocha and I am fortunate to be able to call her, my friend. Mendy, you lost the love of your life and the mother of your children. That loss is huge and I pray that all of the cherished memories will help to sustain you and the family. Ahuva's (ZL) family love and adore you. The love and care that you gifted Ahuva has been noted and Hakodosh Baruchu's blessings will flow generously upon you and of that I am very sure.
