Dear Sally,Justin,Evan and Ashley, It is with a very heavy heart that I hear of the passing of your mother and grandmother. Our friendship goes way back to the Sunbeam days where I would ride my bike over to your house to have your mom welcome me with freshly baked sugar cookies and open arms. Ann always made me feel like one of the family. Her compassion and warmth shined through everything she did even amongst the hardest of times. Her love for her family was incredible. You were all the love of her life. I remember when you had Justin,Ashley and Evan, she was there by your side helping to raise them. Her devotion to your family was amazing and in return she gained the respect and love from them. As a mother she was always there for you. I was always in awe as to how much was never too much, and in return you were able to show her the same warmth, compassion and care in her later years.Always being there when she needed you and always putting her first even though you were grieving the loss of Michael. There is a saying that goes “The parent becomes the child and the child becomes the parent” You truly were all that and even more.. Sally, may her laughter warmth and all the times you shared together keep you strong and keep her memory alive. She will be truly missed. All my love Gail Valentine
