Annette (Chana) Herblum, a Holocaust survivor, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 102.
Annette endured the unimaginable as a survivor of four slave labour camps, drawing strength and courage alongside her beloved sister Helen z’l. After the war, the two made their way to Sweden and were later sponsored by an aunt in Canada ‐ where Annette met the love of her life, Sam z’l, himself a fellow Holocaust survivor.
A devoted mother and mother‐in‐law to Allen & Niomi, and Faye. Annette was the deeply loved Bubba to Rochelle, Michael, Ryan & Chelsea, Sheri & Mike, and Jordana & Matthew. Cherished great‐grandmother to Kaila, Zahavah, Zachary, Joshua, Aviva, Madelyn, Myles, Riley & Skyler.
She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and her many cherished nieces and nephews.
Heartfelt thanks to Luchie, who cared for Annette with such devotion and love over the last nine years.
May her memory be a blessing.
