Things have, indeed, been stressful for all the family since before Rosh Hashanah. As Avraham's mechutan, I have been aware of the many ups and downs, trips to Germany for an hoped-for recovery that did not crystallize. Hakol biday Shamayim. After nearly forty years together there is so much to say about our warm, loving and beloved friend, Avraham zt”l. Yet, i will cite only one aspect of his unique life, his Kedushah, his holiness, his sacredness. Starting with his kehuna, which he passed on to children and grandchildren. Then serving in TZAHAL, TZADIKIM HEM LEYISRAEL, during our Nation’s most deadly and frightening Yom Kippur War. Then again in his uttering the most stark and haunting Yizkor I experienced in shocking understatement capturing time and death and transfixing our Or Chaim Minyan. Dear Betty and Family I was heartbroken to hear this news. A tremendous loss for your family and the entire community. Avram was a smiling warm enthusiastic ball of energy. I remember fondly that when my father A'H would visit the shul Avram always made a special point of going over to him, greeting him respectfully with a big smile and engaging him in conversation. Avram treated me that way too. I am sorry that I will be away and unable to attend the shiva. The memories of Avram will bring a smile and be a blessing for all of us

One day l was locked in my condo because the door would not open from the inside or the outside, Of course l called Avraham and he was here in no time, He guided me how to remove the lock, a part was broken ,so bless ,him he went and brought a replacement part. The door was fixed in no time. l really appreciated it very much May the pleasant memories you have be a comfort during the difficult time and may his Neshama have an Aliyah Love.

Avraham will surely be missed at the Orchaim Minyan. His leadership and davening was outstanding. He had a special Neshama, and this was felt in his davening and demeanor. May his Neshama have an Aliyah and his family should know of no more sorry.
