Dear Marvin and Cindy, Shelley and Helene and families, Mark and I were saddened to learn about the passing of your sister and aunt Barbara. She was a warm-hearted and caring person, who for so many years, stopped to chat with us so often in the evenings as she walked her dog, Major, on Arlstan Drive where the Shifmans' and my parents' homes were for so many years. And always inquiring about my mother's well-being staying in the house on her own as she aged. May your memories of times you shared with Barbara comfort you at this sad time and we wish you Long Life. Greta and Mark

SHELLEY AND MARVIN---SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE PASSING OF YOUR SISTER BARBERA. WE REMEMBER THE LONGTIME NEIGHBORS ON ARLSTAN DR. BARBERA WAS SUCH A KIND PERSON AND ALWAYS HAD TIME TO VISIT AND TO LOOK ON OUR MOTHER AND KEEP AN EYE ON HER. SHE ALWAYS BROUGHT THE DOG OVER TO PLAY WITH HER GRANDKIDS WHEN THEY CAME TO VISIT. My sincere condolences to the entire Shifman family. In particular to Shelly and Marvin. I remember my cousins, your mom and dad, Pearl and Ben with great fondness and your grandparents, my great uncle Joe and my great auntie Leah. My mom was Belle Bernstein. I think of Barbara with great joy. I am still receiving emails always about her love of books which we shared and of course dogs and recently beautiful pictures of flowers. She will be missed by all who knew her.
