Carter, Barry Robert (Bob) (1934-2015). Unexpectedly at home on August 29, 2015 with his wife by his side, Bob left us too soon, but is no longer in pain. Beloved husband of Sheila for 57 years. Loving and devoted father to Leslie (David Siegel), Ian (Adele Stone), Marc, and the late Richard. Cherished Zaidy to Zachary, Ellie, Emma and Shauna. Survived by sister Phyllis Sapers. Will be missed and remembered by his nieces and nephews Earl, Jack, the late Marci, Marlene, Cheryl, Adam, Sandy, Stephen and Howard, their spouses and children. A graduate of RMC, University of Toronto – Engineering, Navigator, 416 Squadron RCAF, proud of his IBM affiliation, Canada Systems Group, and Ministry of Health. Bob was most proud of his children and grandchildren, always looking forward to the next Shabbos dinner when they all came together. He taught us to fish, he taught us to garden; he will be missed by all, forgotten by none. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill. Interment to follow at Pardes Chaim Cemetery, Community section.
