Batya (Betty) Volfinzon (March 17, 1933 Chisinau, Moldova)

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Batya.

Batya was a strong and loving matriarch who fiercely took care of her family.

Batya was born in Chisinau, Moldova in 1933.

She immigrated to Israel in 1973 before coming to Toronto, Canada in 1974.

She had a wonderful marriage to the late Leon Volfinzon, together raising two daughters Marya Grad and Sophie Zigelman.

Batya is survived by her daughters, son-in-law Herman, grandchildren Rachael, David, Jennifer, Dalia, Rebecca and Elizabeth, and great-grandchildren Alexander, Samantha and Max.

Shiva Details: Shiva: private. Immediately after the service friends and family are invited to 2 Cluny Dr., Toronto, M4W 2P7.
