Belle Genesove

Our beloved mother Belle Genesove died peacefully at home today, November 19th, at age 99. Wife of the late Dr. Jack for over 60 years. Mother of Shelley, Cindy, Dalit, Laila, Tammy and David. Mother in Law of Howie, Ron, Simon, Hy, Mark and Dina. Grandmother of Michael (Amanda) , Danna (Nathan), Adam (Whitney), Becca (Danny), Laura (Dan), Benji (Adrianna), Vered (Yuval), Avi (Roni), Tzachi (Rotem) and Itai, Daniel (Tracie), Adena (David), Gabi (Garrett), Michal, Nadav, Lia, Ari, Rafi and Hannah. And 20 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Sandra Genesove, and her many nieces and nephews and extended family. My mother was a patient of Dr. Genesove's and when we visited the office Belle would have the warmest smile and greeting for my mother whose name was Belle (Burgard) Okell and was born and raised in Fort William, Ontario (now Thunder Bay.) I believe your mother had a connection to Fort William as well and they enjoyed each other's company so much. Dr. Genesove was the most wonderful doctor as well. May your many memories bring you comfort. I know she will live on in your hearts forever.

To the entire Genesove clan - what a loss and what a great woman. My memories of Belle (or Mrs Genesove as my generation was taught to call elders) go back a long way. She was always there for you and your families. Belle was a strong woman who endured a lot in her long and rewarding life.
