In his 102nd year, Bunny passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of the late Frances. Dear father of Hedy, Stanley and his wife Isabel. Loving Zaidy of Avi and Sonia, Mark and Jennifer, Mandi, Rayna and Brian, Michael and Jaime and great grand Zaidy of Fenton, Justin, Darwin, Edison, Chloe, Lucy, Teddy and Leo. A special thank you to Chell, Marie, Maria and Rosalyn.

Interment at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Adath Israel section.

Date of Death: Saturday, December 8, 2018

Yahrzeit Day: 30 Kislev

Date of Funeral: Tuesday, December 11, 2018

Time of Funeral: 2:00 PM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel

Shiva Details: Family and friends will be received at 13 Mistflower Road, Toronto on Tuesday immediately following the interment until 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 1-4 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m.

It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Bunny throughout the years, and I spent many hours listening to his life stories, and having him laugh at mine, while I worked in his unit, as well as at various family birthday parties and get-togethers with Hedy, Mandi, Avi, Sonia, Mark, Jen, et. al. He will be missed by many, and celebrated for his life. Love to the entire family from all of us here.

Uncle Bunny was a man among men. He lived his life on his terms and that meant that his family was everything that mattered. Look at what this man accomplished in his life. He married an Oshawa girl and fought in the war. Built a thriving business in a small town, had 2 great kids. He never let his “Jewishness” hold him back. He was a man that saw his children grow up and he saw their children become successful adults and he was so blessed that he was able to see his children’s grandchildren. What a blessing. He will be missed but think of the legacy he left behind.
