It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernice Gancman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Bernice passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Toronto.

Bernice was a loving wife to her husband Henry for 69 years, and a devoted mother to her children Ellen and Warren , Paul and Corrie, and Sharon and Mark. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica and Brad, Adam and Mallory , Shauna, Lee and Sophie , Ari , Jamie , Tara and Daniel, and Blair . Bernice was also a cherished great-grandmother to Cooper, Reece, Logan, Hudson, Axel, and Abigail . Bernice will missed by her sister Carol and brothers Kenneth and Donald.

Special thanks to her caregivers, Judith, Eugenia and Beth for their care and compassion.

Bernice was a kind and generous woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends
