We met Betty in January of 2020 through her lifelong friend Ruth Fluxgold while we were on vacation in Miami. Despite our brief meeting at a dinner she invited us to at her home in Ft. Lauderdale, Betty has left a long lasting impression of goodness and kindness which we accepted as extremely genuine in every respect. Prior to her passing, she remained in constant contact with us via social media platforms and this was quite heartwarming from a person that we had an encounter with just one time. Dear Dinetz Family. We are heartbroken at the loss of your dear Betty. While cousins that knew your mom and dad our entire lives, it was the warm and loving friendship between Betty and our mom Ruth that gave us an opportunity to spend more time with her. Betty was a generous and supportive friend to our mom, she made sure my house was filled with the best pots and pans, and we enjoyed her at our dinner table and meals with Haley and me in Haley’s backyard.
