Dearest Kenny, Darren, Robyn and Family. I do not know what to say here. This is the hardest condolence message I’ve ever had to write. Saying I am sorry for your loss of Bev and that heaven scored a giant jus doesn’t cut it. There’s jus no words to express the profound loss and to adequately articulate jus how special she was to me and my family when we all lived on Coach Liteway years ago. Darren and Robyn were always welcomed in our home as Cindy and Paul were welcomed in yours. Car-pooling was always a hoot when Bev was around. We had a special friendship that grew to the end of time. Bev never minced her words and she called it, as she saw it! Bev had a beautiful voice of reason and I was grateful to hear her voice when she called me this past Sunday before Yontif, though my takeaway was…… that she was calling to say goodbye! And told me “that everything was going to be alright”! Bev was very proud of Darren and Robyn and loved you and your families to the moon and back. Thank you Robyn for keeping me apprised of Bev’s condition over the past few months. Love you Bev until we meet again. I was so deeply grateful to have had Bev in my life of Blessed Memory z”l. My deepest sympathies go out to the Stallman family. She will never leave our hearts. She was so much joy to be around, and I have many memories of her. My thoughts and prayers are with my sister-in-law Robyn and her family during this difficult time.

My beautiful aunt Bev, An intuitively intelligent, straight forward and funny woman. No one wore aviator sunglasses like her. A routine visit at Bev's became epic when she'd play one of her R&B CDs and start singing and dancing. Bev, listened to opposing views for sure, but on a few topics she stood firm: 1) "As you age, you must always lighten your hair- ALWAYS. " 2) Wearing oversized blouses doesn't hide any fat it just makes you look bigger. " 3) " People need to eat meat. "4) "Always switch up your face moisturizer or your skin will get too accustomed to the same one." !5)"Yes, when you have pets it can be 24/7- at least a kid grows up....but, I still love dogs, and they are good for the heart." I will remember your wise words and infectious humor. I believe you're hanging out with Brian, Moe and Ethel drinking A LOT of red wine. You're reunited with your crew of beloved pets Coco, Dodi, Dutchess, Lucy, Annie and Sally listening to some cool Motown and there's a supply of blue Chicklet's gum. I will always love you Bev Zoe

Although in the past forty plus years I have had almost no interaction with Bev, she always struck me as a fundamentally kind and loving person; as is her entire family. I doubt very few could match her love and devotion for her brother Brian. So very sorry for your loss.

There are people you meet in life that you instantly love, and Bev is one of those people. There is over 40 years of memories of Bev, Kenny, Darren and Robyn. I could go over to their house which was 2 doors down from us on Coach Liteway and was welcomed by Bev and then fed because I was “too skinny”. I loved making her laugh, which wasn’t difficult because she has the best sense of humour, her laugh was infectious. I would walk in the house and she was always there and made me feel better about my day, because she would always welcome me with a compliment. When I think of Bev I think of home, I can say without a doubt she was my second mother, and I could talk to her about anything and there was no judgment, only thoughtful words of encouragement. I was heartbroken when they moved to Thornhill. I would ride my bike from our house to their new house and I felt like I was home again. When my parents were looking to move I was so happy when they said this is where so I was close to the Stallman’s again. I remember sitting in the kitchen of course and talking and laughing usually making fun of Kenny. Bev gave me the best advice one night in particular. We would play a hockey video game and Kenny wouldn’t let me leave until he beat me. So one night I called my mom to say I was going to be late and why, she laughed because she knew that’s Kenny. Bev pulled me aside and said “just let Kenny win, but don’t make it obvious”. She was right and it worked. I’ve been living in the USA for over 20 years, and having Bev and Kenny at my wedding in Chattanooga Tennessee meant more to me than they will ever know. My heart breaks for Kenny, Darren his family and Robyn and hers. Bev is one in a billion and the world is a better place with because of her smile, laugh, sense of humour and wisdom. There are so many memories I have with Bev, Kenny, Darren and Robyn, thank you all for the love, I can’t imagine my childhood without them.
