Beverly was an extraordinary wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. With a radiant smile and a warm heart, she embodied kindness and grace, always showering those around her with uplifting words, encouragement, and baked treats. Her presence was a gift, and her long, fulfilling life was a testament to her remarkable spirit.
Born in Buffalo, NY, on September 22, 1933, to her loving parents Edna and Charlie Hankin, Beverly leaves behind a legacy of love and connection through her brother Shelly, her brother Larry and his wife Barbara, and her three beloved children: Richard and his wife Debbie, Marlene and her partner Tony, and Stephen. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren Julianna, Alana, Olivia, Claudia, Hailey, and Brandon, as well as her great-grandchildren Melody and Dorian, loving cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly was married to the late Teddy Adelman and then to the late Alfy Goldberg, both of whom she loved dearly. A resilient soul and a true beacon of light, she was always a source of strength and support for her family and friends. Her baking talents were legendary, particularly her irresistible chocolate chip cookies, delightful mandelbroit, and pecan dainties.
Beverly’s memory will forever be cherished by all her friends and relatives, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable moments that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
