It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmen Tayar on November 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Albert (z’l). In her 101st year. Loving mother of 6, cherished grandmother of 16, proud great-grandmother of 49. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her family around the world.

Yahrzeit Day: Cheshvan 15

Date of Funeral: Thursday, November 10, 2022

Time of Funeral: 2:00 PM

Memorial Service Location: Graveside service at Mount Sinai Cemetery

Burial Service Location: Mount Sinai Memorial Park, 986 Wilson Ave., Toronto, Beth Lida section

Shiva Details: 4 Fernwood Rd., Toronto,M6B 3G4. Shiva visits from 4 to 6 p.m. with evening prayers at 4:20 p.m. Morning prayers at 7 a.m. (Sunday at 8 a.m.). Masks are respectfully requested.

Fred and family. I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother, the Matriarch of your family. How fortunate you all were to have her with you all those many years and that she could delight in legions of grandchildren and great grandchildren. What a blessing for all of you. Hamakom Yenachem Etchem Betoch Shaar Avalei Tzion ve Yerushalyim. It's been some time since we had a chance to wish each other a Shabbat Shalom Fred..
