Beloved wife of the late Marvin Kravetsky z”l. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sheri Kravetsky Tewel, and Philip and Penny Kravetsky. Cherished grandmother of Ora-Lea and David, Tehila, Ari and Fraidi, Atara and Yaacov, Yoram, Tzahala, Zach and Eliana, Eli, Benny, and Nechama. Honoured great-grandmother of Dovid Eliezer, Betzalel, Tova, Meir, Shragi, Miriam, Gabby and Hadassa.

Dear Phil and the rest of the family... I met your parents in Winnipeg at Michele's wedding. When I moved to Toronto a few months later, they took an entire, long evening and gave me a personal tour of Toronto, which I remember to this day. When, some eleven years later, I moved back to Toronto, I had frequent contact with Carol, not only in her official community capacity, but also on a personal basis over many years. She was always positive, always helpful, and always willing to give me the best possible advice and guidance. Both the family and the community have lost a living role model. Phil, Sheri and the Kravetsky Family--- Just attended the funeral and it brought back so many wonderful memories of Carol. If you remember I worked with her for many years at Shaarei Shomayim Synagogue. She was an amazing Woman who gave her time and caring to so many Organizations and so many in the Community that needed help. We were all lucky to know her and appreciate her thoughtfulness. Carol was a mother to so many of us who were welcomed without condition or pretense to come and eat, talk, and be. One was greeted on the threshold of their home with the aromas of her wonderful cooking and human warmth. The Hachnassat Orchim of Carol and Marvin did not have limits, and so many souls were touched and made to feel mattered. There are those of us whose coming of age is grounded around that dining room table, couch, and beyond. We can only do our best with what we are given to work with and Carol showed tremendous resilience and example to all who knew her. Her legacy is in all her children who were her purpose. Deeds live on forever. Thank you, Carol. May those left behind be comforted through continuing Carol Kravetsky's good deeds, loving, and kindness.
