On March 31, 2023, in her 75th year of life, Celine passed away after a short and heroic battle with cancer.

Born in Upton, Quebec, to Therese Brouillard and Georges Dupont, Celine and her older sister, Denise, moved to St. Hyacinthe when Celine was a young teen. Her ancestors were among the earliest settlers in Quebec.

In her early 20s, Celine moved to Toronto where she met her true love, Jacob Kuperhause. Happily together for 50 years, Celine and Jake built a life and family together.

Celine will be deeply missed and forever loved by her husband, Jake, her son who was her pride and joy, Philip, and her adoring daughter in law, Marla.

After she retired from a fulsome career as a legislative editor for the Province of Ontario,Celine had a lot pursuits. Singing in a choir and using her beautiful voice was one of them. Practicing Tai Chi was another. Celine lovingly assumed her natural role as a doting grandmama to Ezra. He was the light of her life.

Celine will be fondly remembered by her sister Denise and her husband Rene , as well as her nieces and nephews, Sebastien (Nancy), Maxime (Marie-Pier), Debra (Ryan), Karim (Kim), Sebastien (Suzanne) and Andrew, her many great nieces and nephews, her extended family and close friends.
