Loving father and father-in-law of Brian Neuman and Jennifer Duffin, Rick and Carina, and Jessica and Steven Farber. Cherished Zaidy of Milo, Nova, Emilia, Matilda, Eleanor, Theodore, Raphael, and Eloise. Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave West, Chapel service

Burial Service Location: Pardes Chaim Cemetery, 11818 Bathurst St., Community section

Shiva Details: 135 George St. S. #202., Toronto. Following the interment family and friends will be welcome in the party room. Shiva continues in #202, daily from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. Concludes Thursday morning July 25th.

I only wish I could be with you at this time. My heart is broken because I can’t make it. Chris meant. More to me then just your loving husband. He was a dear friend to. I. Will remember all the good times we spent together from camping in the pouring rain and many more times. Especially I will miss him calling me AtaBear. Love you.

I particularly remember when I started at SJHS Chris invited me over to his house for lunch. That certainly made me feel most welcome and really helped break the ice as far as making new friends. I am beyond sad to hear of the passing of one of my dearest friends. Even though we did not see each other much since he and Marilyn left Montreal, he was never far from my mind and heart. He was my buddy from the moment we met in Grade 2. I have many happy memories. My most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to his life partner, Marilyn and to his wonderful family. I admired him greatly as a loyal friend, a man of integrity and a most loving father and grandpa.

Marilyn, I am so sorry for your loss! I just read this as I was posting a birthday wish and now feel so completely and utterly like a fool. I had no idea. My deepest condolences and apologies. I always had a soft spot for Chris and held him in high esteem. I loved his manner and knowledge and miss the days at Nordic when we worked together.
