Claire Moskoske

Moskoske (Mosko) nee Brudner Claire,

Peacefully at the age of 86 with her family by her side on Saturday July 6th 2019 at home. Loving wife of the late Ben Mosko. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Randi and Paul Jonas, Alan, Barry and Norma Reyes Lopez, Jodi and Stephen Gold. Proud Bubbie of Matthew and Pami Jonas, Corey and Erica Jonas and Brandon Jonas. Adoring great Bubbie of Casey and Austin. Dear sister of the late Rena and Henry Shanfield. Claire will be sadly missed by extended family and friends who knew her.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation 416-445-0373.

The service and burial will take place at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin St., Maple.

The Shiva will be held at 161 Green Bush Crescent, Thornhill, L4J 5L8.

Date of Funeral: Monday, July 8, 2019

Time of Funeral: 1:00 PM

Memorial Service Location: Graveside Service

Burial Service Location: Pardes Shalom Cemetery - New Adath Israel Synagogue Section

Shiva Details: Immediately following the interment, friends and family are invited back to the residence. Shiva visits Monday to Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Although I haven't been in touch with dear Claire for many years, I will never forget our mutual pleasure in kibbutzing each other when she and I did meet at various times with our respective parents. She was a beautiful, delightful and funny person. May the memories of her be forever a blessing to her family.

Claire lived her life by her terms right to the very end. She wouldn’t have had it any other way, right? She’s with Benny and all those she loved and went before her.
