Message of Condolence

Ron Mazor
It is with the deepest regret and with a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of not only a great son , but the best brother I could of ever asked for. Dan finally lost a 26yr battle after his accident but was such an inspiration to not only me but anybody that knew him. His love for music , his undeniable sense of humor and the courage to keep fighting as a quadriplegic has left an undeniable mark on not only my life but so many people that were lucky enough to know him. Dan we love you and will miss you more then you will ever know and I know your in a better place. I love you my brother.

Dan and I became friends at Don Valley Junior High School, and we bonded over our love of percussion instruments. His entire life is an inspiration, and I hope my old friend gets the rest he deserves.

I needed to leave a message about the wonderful Danny. The company I work at provided PSW services to him and we were all devastated when we heard the news. He was nothing short of amazing even on days when he was not feeling the best, always kind and courteous and our PSWs loved working with him. It was an honour to work with him, and Maria, Fan Joe, My Lhin, Channadry, Satimehin, Roy, Kumuthini, Stephen, and many others share the same sentiment. May God Bless his beautiful soul. I've only just heard about this now, several months later. I'm very sorry for your loss, Ron. My condolences also go to your parents Jerry and Dorit, who treated me so well when I came over to do tech support for Danny's music studio. I spoke with Danny on June 2 of this year; he had a tiny tech support issue which I think was solved over the phone. We also joked a bunch (we both appreciated dark humour), and gabbed about audio gear and software. So it's an extra shock to think that he passed a couple of days later. The dude was AMAZING for several reasons, not least was his relentless pursuit of being a better and better composer (he started out pretty darn good when I first met him in the late 1990s) and learning and using the hell out of modern technology. Rest In Peace, Danny. It was an honour knowing you.
