‘David delighting in eating 4 kinds of gelato’.

Our beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, David Alexander Nitkin, died Wednesday evening at home after a fierce 5-year fight with metastatic prostate cancer. He continued to be his stubborn, generous, and loving self until his last breath, and was surrounded by family when he died.

David’s funeral will be 10 AM Friday September 2nd at Steeles Memorial Chapel (350 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, ON), followed immediately by burial at Mount Sinai Cemetery (986 Wilson Ave, North York, ON).

Out of an abundance of caution and care, we are asking everyone attending the funeral to wear a mask at all times. As well, if you are able to administer a COVID self-test before attending the funeral, we would appreciate it. Please do not attend if you have any COVID symptoms or have had a recent exposure.

Memorial donations may be made to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care https://www.tlcpc.org/
