Peacefully on Sunday morning, August 4, 2024, in Toronto, in the presence of her children.  Beloved wife of Irving Isaac Begun z’l. Mother and mother-in-law of Hindy and Raymond, Sheryl and George, Dov and Bonnie. Grandmother and grandmother-in-law of Ariella, Becky, Ashira, Sachy, Yonatan, Megan, Eitan, Yakira, Tamar, Benjy, Isaac and Adin. Great-grandmother of Aviva, Noam and Ayelet. Predeceased by her brother Stanley Scherr and her sister Gilda Ackerman.

Funeral service at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Tuesday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. Burial Young Israel of Montreal Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, 4189 des Sources Blvd, D.D.O. Shiva will be at 6 Forest Wood, Toronto, starting Wednesday August 7, mornings until 12:00 noon, afternoon and evening after 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Shacharit at 7:15, Mincha / Maariv at 6:45 at 6 Forest Wood. Donations in her memory may be made to Bikur Cholim of Toronto, (416) 783-7983 or or One True Family Fund, (416) 489-9687.
