It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Sally Robinson on Sunday, April 30th, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 5th, 1925. Diana was the loving wife of the late David Robinson. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Robert and Susan Robinson, Arlene Robinson-Zeligman and the late Jack Zeligman, and Merridy Robinson-Kotler. Beloved Nanny of Alison and Scott Posen, Jodi and Jamie Newman, Sean and Shawna Zeligman, Todd and Naomi Zeligman, Julie and Elan Shedlaz, Lindsay Kotler and Tony Merenda, Jonathan Kotler, Harrison Kotler. Treasured Great-Nanny of Jayden Posen, Justin Posen, Nathan Newman, Ashley Newman, Hunter Zeligman, Jagger Zeligman, Logan Zeligman, Brooke Zeligman, Jace Zeligman, Liam Shedlaz, Ella Shedlaz.

The family would like to give special thanks to the greatest caregivers one could have; Helen Alimojaned, Lea Hagori, and Riza Cantero, for their outstanding care and compassion throughout Diana’s final years.

She gave us love, knowledge, and faith. Best friend, hero, and loved by all who were lucky to know her. She will remain an inspiration to us all. With our everlasting love and devotion. We love you. Rest in peace. Keep dancing “Begin The Beguine” with Dad.

A funeral service will be held in Toronto on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Steeles Memorial Chapel. The burial will take place in Quebec on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Eternal Gardens Cemetery, 33 Elm Ave., Pointe-Claire. 

Visitors are invited back to the residence (7071 Bayview Ave. #401, Thornhill) immediately following the funeral service on Tuesday.
