All of us at Bikur Cholim are saddened to hear of the passing of Diane. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family who we know took such good care of her and never left her side. Dear Frances, so sorry for your extreme loss. But you can sleep at night knowing you gave your all to Diane’s care, in terms of your time, support and emotional and physical strength. When Abraham died, it’s written that he was “ gathered to his people.” The Torah is hinting of reunion with those loved ones and family who have passed on before us. I hope you will be comforted by the likelihood of being once again with those who have gone to the Heavenly world ahead of us. I wish I could pay you a shiva call in person, but I’m not in Toronto. She was a beautiful person inside & out - always such a caring & giving person, with a heart of gold, & I will always cherish our good times together....
