ROBUCK, Donny – On Saturday, March, 4, 2023 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Donny Robuck, beloved husband of the late Marmel. Loving father and father-in-law of Ricki (Brenda) and Alan Light, Caryn and Robert Peters, and Bethea and Christopher Jackson. Older brother and brother-in-law of Arnold and Valerie. Cherished Zaidy of Blaine and Sydney, Jared, Martine and James, Rebecca, Kyleigh, Maya, and Caleb, and Great Zaidy of Mackinley. Adored uncle of Stephen Stone, Ilana and Andy Zalkin, and great uncle of Adam and Caroline, Hayley, and the late Michael. He loved his family most, and then fishing. Memorial donations may be made to Carpenter Hospice 905-631-9994.

Hi Cousins: Next to my parents Donny and Marmel were probably two of the closest cousins that I saw on a regular basis. One of the earliest memories of him I had was of him taking me to see the animated cartoon of Lord of the Rings. I also had nice memories of him taking of the adventures of him and my dad in his Cadillac. Hopefully he is at peace.

We would like to send our deepest condolences to all of the Robuck family. We have such fond Memories of Donny and Marmel from the time we all bowled together. They arranged the finest banquets every that were always magnificent. We will never forget Donny.s humor. He was always laughing and joking. He really was a very special person.

Dear extended Robuck family, please accept my condolences on the loss of Donny. I met Donny and Marmel more than 50 years ago through my friendship with Ricki (Brenda) and they immediately made me feel like one of the family. Donny's wry sense of humour and his willingness to share aspects of his life philosophy had a profound effect on many of us. I remember when he started his carpentry avocation and dragged each of us to the basement or garage to see his knife blocks or any of the other things he had recently crafted. May your memories of Donny be for a blessing and may everyone have a smile on their face when they remember him.

To the Robuck Family: My heart goes out to the family on the terrible loss of your beloved father Donny. Donny was one of a kind - fun loving, unpredictable and enjoyed life. He carried on after the death of his childhood love, Marmel, but he just wasn’t the same Donny. He’s with his Marmel now and they can rest in peace together.

Dear Robuck Family, we were very sad to read that your father has passed away. We have wonderful memories of Donny and Marmel back in the day when we bowled. Your father was such a funny guy. We both belonged to the Judean Benevolent Society and your parent's anniversary was listed on the mailout. We sent them an anonymous card wishing him a happy anniversary. It took him TWO weeks to figure out who sent it but he finally figured it out and this was years after we had seen them. He always enjoyed a good joke. Your mother was lovely too. Once your dad bought a fishing boat and FORGOT to tell your mother he bought it. She was so mad that she drove to the bowling alley ALONE and wouldn't talk to him for weeks! The picture you posted was apropos. He loved his boat as much as he loved to fish. Our very sincere condolences, he was a great guy.
