Dr. Clarence Rosenhek, M.D.,C.M (1915-2015)

It is with sadness that his family announces the passing of Dr. Clarence Rosenhek on November 5, 2015 in his 101st year. He is survived by his devoted wife Doris (Steinberg), sons Dr. Shoel, Mark (Ruth Darmon) and Steven (Dr. Bonnie Burke),and adored grandchildren Benjamin, Julian, Jonathan, Sarah and Jackson. He was predeceased by his parents Taube and Israel Shoel Rosenhek and his brothers Jack and Moe.

He was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, and educated at the Faculty of Science, Dalhousie University and at the Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, graduating in 1940. He then enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps and achieved the rank of Captain. He was in charge of the Debert Military Hospital at Camp Debert, Nova Scotia. He practiced family medicine, obstetrics and general surgery in Campbellton and subsequently in Quebec City, and Richmond Hill until retirement.
