It is with the most profound sadness that the family of Dr Glenn Berall announce his passing on Friday May 19th 2017 at 4:55am, at the age of 57.

Glenn had spent the last two years fighting a devastating dual diagnosis of ALS and dementia. It was a battle that he fought with his typical dignity, strength and bravery. Robbed of his speech, he nonetheless never lost his beautiful smile or the sparkle in his blue eyes.  In his role as a paediatrician, and later as Chief of Pediatrics at North York General Hospital, Glenn battled for the rights and acceptance of all the sick children in his care, but especially so those with Prader-Willi syndrome. His contribution to that patient population is world renowned.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Darlene; children Gillian and Eric; step-daughter Kyla;  siblings Leslie, Murray (Melissa) and Marni (Allan). Survived also by his loving in-laws Jim and Leone Dalley. Glenn was predeceased  by his beloved parents Harry and Neysa Berall. Rest in peace dear Glenn – you deserve the seat you will be given at Gd’s side in the highest reaches of heaven.
