To the Cohen Family: I was saddened to hear of.Dr. Cohen's passing. I have fond memories of him from Hamilton and I also introduced him to a lovely friend from North Ireland and he hired her as his assistant. Her name was Milly Boyd. They had a beautiful office relationship a nd when she moved out it the city to be married, he was beside himself. When he and his wife went to Israel they always brought her a meaningful piece of Judaica. All these many decades later, I am in touch with Milly and her husband, Nigel. I will send her a message to relay the news of her favourite dear Canadian Jewish employer. She will be saddened to hear that her Dr.Harry Cohen is gone. I saw him and his dear late wife at a program a number of years ago at the BAYT where she was manning the welcome table. May your beautiful memories of your father sustain you. It seems like a few minutes ago when he walked into my aunt Goldie Robins kitchen to find her in the middle of piercing my teenage ears and then horrified that a year later, his very sensible assistant, my friend Milly, had sat in the very same kitchen, where my Aunt Goldie's eldest daughter, pierced Milly's ears with me in attendance.
