ZUCK, Dr. Victor – On January 26, 2024, at home. Beloved husband of the late Rose. Loving father of Elaine Zuck, Susan Garellek, and Jennifer Piltz z”l. Loving grandfather of Julie, Jonathan, Laurie, Dayna, Rachel, Isaac, Alana, and Jody. Great-grandfather of Zachary and Blake.

Memorial Service Location: Graveside Service

Burial Service Location: Pardes Shalom Cemetery (10953 Dufferin St., Vaughan) - Beth Tikvah Synagogue Section

Shiva Details: Family and friends are invited back to the residence immediately following the burial. Shiva visits daily from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maariv will be held daily at 7:30 p.m. Shiva concludes Friday morning, February 2nd.

To all who loved Victor. We met Vic and Rose about 20 years ago. Their granddaughter married our son and we were lucky enough to see them often . . A wonderful, kind , Caring and brilliant man. A most devoted special husband to Rose. What a pair they were. Genuinely the cutest most lovely couple. So hospitable Always asking about our family. An amazing violinist who took pridei In being in an orchestra in Boca Raton and was always practising to be even better! A wonderful doctor even working till his 90's. How lucky were his patients whom he saw and cared for with so much compassion! . We will miss him ,his humour, his zest for life and his adorable suspenders! I have been fortunate enough to know Victor for 25 years. I have many fond memories of swimming in their pool and picking the raspberries in their garden. Mama and Pop were always so warm and welcoming to me and I will cherish all my time spent with them. It has been an honour to watch the very special relationship Victor and Rose had with my best friend Julie Zylberlicht (Piltz) and her wonderful siblings Jon (Piltz) and Laurie (Piltz). The devotion shown by these three grandchildren for their grandparents is a bright light in an often dark world. The special bond they had with Victor speaks to his character and the values the family holds dear. Victor was also so proud of his two great-grandsons Zac and Blake. He always lit up when they entered a room and spent many hours playing games with them. The world is a richer place because of Victor and what he brought to it. His memory will live on in those who knew and loved him. I am lucky enough to be one of those people.

I am lucky enough to have known Victor since Julie came into our lives, over 20 years ago. Mama and Pop always welcomed me into their home with open arms, and were the most generous, warm, and special people. Pop was such an intelligent, vibrant, and caring man. We are privileged to have known him. He will be greatly missed, and we are sending so much love and strength to his family members.

We met Rose and Victor at The Valley and we remember the wonderful days of tennis and bridge and camaraderie. We have memory of a skiing trip to Lake Tahoe, their pool and raspberry cuttings. They always made us welcome. Rest in peace dear friend.

Dear Elaine and Susan, My condolences on your loss of your father, Vic. I remember skiing at the farm on Sunday afternoons, the rope tow and the 1950's car at the bottom. I also remember your parents and ours at the cottage and your mother making lunch. Your father was a lovely man. May you be comforted by the memories of your father.

I inherited Dr. Zuck's patients at the clinic on Yonge St. and Harding Blvd. in Richmond Hill when he retired ~ 1991, and so got to know what kind of a family physician he was, both from his charting and from the comments of his former patients. Thus, I can say with authority that he was a terrific, compassionate, and dearly-beloved family physician. My own interactions with him were always very pleasant. May his memory be a blessing to his offspring.

i just heard about Dr Zuck's passing now, this breaks my heart, Dr Zuck was part of my childhood, my Dr, my neighbor and my friend. If i was ever sick id jump my back fence and be in his yard and knock on the door, he'd look after me right away, or he'd come over with his Dr bag. In the summers id clean his pool, he was my Dr when my tonsil's came out at age 4, so many fond memories with Elaine, Suzie, Jennifer and Rose. From all the Lofchick family, our deepest condolences to the family

Dr. Zuck was my family doctor from the time I emigrated to Canada in 1968 at the age of four, until I moved away from Richmond Hill in my early twenties. But he was my Mum Rita's doctor until he retired in 1991 and he was always so good to her and our family. Condolences to Dr. Zuck's entire family and to all who know and love him.

Doctor Zuck was my family doctor in Richmond Hill from 1956 to the year I got married in 1980 and mi Ed to Toronto. He was a great doctor and I looked him up and spoke to him a few years ago, he was retired and living in a condo in Thornhill. He remembered my family. The Price’s, Dan, Shirley (parents) and my sister Debbie, brother Larry and Paul and me (Pam) who are twins. May he rest in peace.
