With deepest sadness our beloved mother Edna Brinker passed away on Sunday August 25th, 2024, at the ripe old age of ninety-eight. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Brinker. Loving and devoted mother of Diane, and Susan. Daughter of the late Harry and the late Rose Conter. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, David, William, Henry and Sari, Samuel, Fae, Ralph and Debra. Edna will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and all those whose lives she touched. Diane and Susan would like to thank their friends and family for all their support during this very difficult time.

Edna was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and shortly moved to Montreal to start her successful nursing career. Soon after she met her husband Samuel, of 54 years and raised two loving daughters Diane and Susan. Edna was full of life and so strong, loved by so many and sacrificed so much for her children, friends and family. She had a love for baseball and most especially her Toronto Blue Jays. Edna was selfless, hard working, had a big heart and a smile that could light up a room.

Family and friends are invited to say a final goodbye to her on Tuesday, August 27th at 12:00 noon at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. A celebration of life will be held in Toronto on a date to be determined. Burial at the Canadian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
