It is with much love and deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Eddie Pitch, who left us on June 19, 2024, at the young age of 88, at Mount Sinai Hospital.

He was born on March 20, 1936, in Toronto, Ontario to Sarah and Jack Pitch.
He married Mickey Ruben on June 29th 1970, and they had two children, Jules and Cara. They lived in Thornhill, Richmond Hill and Maple for many years .

Eddie is survived by his wife Mickey, and kids Jules and Cara, son-in-law Adam, as well as his two grandchildren Frankie and Marlie, his late brother Irv, and sisters Corrine Travis and Bunny Morris, sister-in-law Bobbie Zweifler and brother-in-law Walter Zweifler, sister-in-law Bakol Gellar and brother-in-law Shumuel Gellar, brother-in-law Stephen Ruben and sister-in-law Sharilyn and loving nieces and nephews.

Eddie was a special man, with a big heart who touched many lives.
He became a golf pro at 26 and worked at the Brampton and Bayview Golf Club as an assistant pro and played in several tournaments in Canada with some golf legends including George Knudson and Moe Norman. After 6 years he decided to venture into the life insurance industry with his brother and became a legend in that field for over 53 years, forging long lasting meaningful relationships.
He will live on in our hearts for eternity. We thank everyone for the outpouring of love, please continue to share your fond memories of our beloved Eddie.
