We are saddened to announce the passing of Elaine Charney. She was the devoted daughter of the late William Charney and Marcia Polter, and the beloved wife of the late Gordon Wells. Elaine was the cherished sister of the late Marla z”l and her husband Sam Askenasi, and a loving sister to Susan Charney and Chuck Ander. She was a caring aunt to Gillian and Ben Compton, and to Marc and Amanda Askenasi, and a proud great-aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews. Elaine will be deeply missed by her family and by all who were fortunate to know her.
