We sadly announce the death of Elaine Kirshen, ע״ה, the wife of the Joseph Kirshen ז״ל. She was was born Edit Weisz in Sighetu Marmației, Romania. With her sisters, Adrian Karp, and the late Sandra Bronner, she survived the camps to build a new life in Canada. Her parents, Albert and Hani Weisz, along with her sisters Fanny and Roczika, and brothers Mendl and Yisroel Hersh were murdered in the Shoah.

She is survived by her sons and their wives, Albert and Janice, Ira and Esther. She leaves a legacy of love of family, survived also by her five grandchildren and their spouses, Chayim and Erin, Aliza and Choni, Carly and Brad, Dustin and Jenny, Jeffrey and Michelle, and 11 great-grandchildren, along with her sister, her nephews, and their offspring.
