Enid Berg

It is with great sadness the we announce the passing of Enid Berg on Monday May 25, 2020. Beloved wife to the late Graham Berg, loving mother and mother-in-law of Lorne and Debbie, Richard, Paddy Berg-Gorry and Colin Gorry. Cherished grandmother to David, Eve and Blythe. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Merle Burston and Billy and Carolyn Collins.

Memorial donations may be made to The Enid and Graham Memorial Fund at Baycrest Foundation (416) 785-2875.

A private graveside service on Tuesday May 26th, 2020.

I am so sad to hear of Enid's passing. I go back to Camp Yungvelt with Enid when I was her JC. I remember her gorgeous long legs and wonderful personality. Later we were neighbours when you lived on Wembley and we lived on Old Park then Wembley. Enid was a warm wonderful human being. May she rest in peace.

Fifty years ago, we both lived 3 or 4 blocks from each other, but we became friends by the chance meeting in the Jerusalem shook. From that moment both of them changed our lives in so many great ways that we will always cherish. They say that one only leaves memories and Enid did that in spades - and for a lot of people. We hope that each and all of you will cherish great memories of your wonderful parents and grandparents throughout long and healthy lives.

Enid (and Graham) always lit up the room at our various meetings including our important poker sessions. Enid always kept track of everyone's important milestone events and reminded us of our upcoming anniversary. After dinner together, she would always call the next morning to say how lovely it was. Enid and Graham also produced a wonderful family that we are so fond of. Kind, honest, smart, sardonic humour, proud of her family, excellent friend: These are some of the attributes that we remember in Enid. Many fond memories of a memorable woman.
