With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Erle Karp on September 24th, 2025, at Sunnybrook Hospital. Erle leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family that will be cherished always.

Beloved husband of Miriam, Erle was a proud and loving father to Jared, Daryn, and Maya, and a devoted stepfather to Evie (Aryeh), Aliza, and Reena (Zach). He found immense joy in his role as grandpa to Sidney and Lyla, who brought light to his life.

Erle was the cherished son of Syril Karp and the late Jeanette Karp, and the cherished son-in-law of Doris Eisen. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Jerome (Linda), Mandy (Larry), and Shareen (Jaykee). He is also mourned by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Daniel, Robert (Naomi), and Sarah (Ian). He was much loved by many nieces and nephews.

Erle will be missed deeply by all who knew him. His family, friends, and all whose lives he touched will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. May his memory be a blessing.
