It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Esther Kapp. Esther (Estelle) Kapp died peacefully on Sunday, October 15,2023 in London, Ontario at 92 years old. She was married for 67 years to her late husband Manfred Kapp. Esther is a cherished Mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Esther loved to cook, play cards, spend time with her grandchildren and travel, especially to New York to visit her sister Rhoda and her nieces and nephews Sharon, Jonathan, Alan and Suzanne. Esther was born in New York, New York in 1928. She met her husband Manfred there and together they moved to Toronto in 1956. There she raised 2 children, Neil Kapp and her late daughter Eileen Jacobson. For the past 25 years, Esther and Manfred would spend their winters in Florida surrounded by a large group of loving friends. Esther will be greatly missed by her son Neil and daughter-in-law Debbie Kapp, her son-in-law Karey Jacobson and Sandra Marcus, her grandchildren Jana Kapp and John Solomon, Jacqueline Kapp, Philip Jacobson and Mel Levitin, Danielle Jacobson and Dylan Wagman, Jessie Jacobson, Michael Jacobson, and her great-grandchildren Eva, Addison, Wilkin, Edwin, and Eila.

Graveside funeral service will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2:30pm at Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Bnai Brith Section, 10953 Dufferin St, Vaughan, ON L6A 1S2. Memorial donations in Esther’s name can be made to the Association for Soldiers of Israel 416-783-3053 or to a charity of your choice. There will be a private shiva.
