BAYLIN, Esther –  On February 3, 2017. Esther Baylin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.  Beloved wife of the late Henry Baylin.  Loving mother and mother-in-law of Lois and Brian Demone, and Julia and Jeffrey Royer, and dear sister of Bernice Herzog, the late Adele Klien, and the late Louise Steiman. Devoted grandmother of Hayley and Lee Rosen, Robyn and Ian Plener, Stephanie Demone, Harrison Demone, David Henry Royer, and Blake and Elin Royer. Loving great-grandmother of Micah Rosen, Idan Rosen, Ira Plener, Paul Royer, and Jakob Royer. A special thank you to her extraordinary caregivers Gloria, Joselyn, Zeny, Noela, Emelie, Joy, Katrina, Avelina, Mila, Lenie, Kacey, Dr. Martin Schwartz and Dr. Jennifer Shapiro.   Funeral service at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Avenue West, Thornhill on February 7 at  3:00pm. Interment at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2962 Bank Street, Ottawa on February 8 at 1:00pm.   Shiva – 1 Chedington Place Suite 3B, Toronto, commencing Thursday, February 9th 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday-Monday 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Please no visitation Saturday evening. Evening services Thursday, Sunday, and Monday at 7:30 p.m.  Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund.
