Dear Betty and Miriam, and the entire family, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother, mother-in-law, and bubbie. She took a genuine interest in everyone and everything around her, which made us all feel so welcome when in her presence. I remember sitting outdoors with her many times, being struck by how she noticed the beauty in all of the flowers, trees, and breeze around her. None of this, though, compares to her love of all of you, and the way that her face would light up whenever you were around. Baruch dayan emet.

Dear Betty, Miriam, and families: I share in your grief at the loss of your beloved mother, and bubbie. Even though a parent lives a long life, in health or in sickness, it is hard to say good-bye. Your Mom was a lovely woman, so kind, gentle, and caring. I remember her from my youth as being a beautiful person, with a beautiful neshama. May her fierce love of her family live in your hearts, and always guide you and comfort you. May she rest in peace.

Betty, Miriam and families, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I have such fond memories from when I was a child when your parents and my grandparents would get together. And, in recent times I had spoken to your mom on many occasions at the Terrace as I go there regularly to visit someone. My heart is with you all.
