Eva Goldberg 1922-2022

The family of Eva Goldberg is sad to announce her passing on March 11, 2022 at the age of 99, of natural causes.  Fondly known as “Huv”.  She grew up in Fenelon Falls Ontario, loving daughter of Harry and Annie Kriger.  She was a World War II RCAF veteran and was stationed over seas in England.  After the war she met the love of her life, the late Mel Goldberg.  She had a career as a hair dresser, retail salesperson, and spent many years at home raising her family.  Eva was a passionate Blue Jays fan and prolific writer of poetry.  She generously volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels and B’nai Brith.

She will be greatly missed by her 4 sons Mark (Merrilyn), Harold (Carole), Eddy (Simone) and Michael (Melyssa), 13 grandchildren Karla, Amelia, Ella, Mina, Bryan, Jason, Alice, Daniel, Rachel, Ezra, Noah, Matthew, Jonah, and 20 great grandchildren.

She was the dear sister of Zelda Siegal (Max), Louis Kriger, Fan Rose (Ben), Helen Pezim (Norman) and Grace Kamen (Reuben).

A mask is required for all those attending the service at Steeles Memorial Chapel.
