Faygie died peacefully at 88 with her family present. She will be remembered for her laughter, joyfulness, optimism and her deep love of her family and life long friends.

Faygie was the daughter of Max and Rose Lazer, and sister of the late Bessie.  She was very happily married to the late Harry White.

She was loved by her sister Elly, her husband Spencer, and their children Mark and his wife Susan, and their children Noah, Lauren and Jordyn, Jason and his wife Dorit, and their children David, Daniella, Shane and Jesse, and Rachel and her husband Blair, and their children Ben, Jake and Mitchell.

She will be greatly missed by her sons, Joel and Michael, Michael’s wife Eva and her adoring granddaughters Amy and Danielle.

She was very special to her niece and nephew Karren and Larry, as well as Larry’s wife Alex, and their children Bob and Rebecca.

She was a cherished as a grandmother to Leah, partner Eric, and their children Ayla and Ori.

Memorial Services will be held at Bathurst Lawn Cemetery, Adath Israel Section, Wednesday May 14, 2025 at 11 a.m.

Family and friends are invited after the service to meet at 47 Glen Cedar Road, Toronto.

Shiva will be at the same location on Wednesday May 14, 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Thursday May 15, 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
