Our dear mother, Frances Mendel, passed away peacefully at Carefree Lodge on Saturday August 19th 2023. She will be sadly missed by her children Barry and Bonnie Mendel and Linda King, grandchildren, Michael and Jess, Steven and Jessica, Evan and Miriam, Aaron and Carla, Josh,Matthew and Andreas. Mum was always uplifted by her great-grandchildren Nava, Shoshana, Akiva, Miles, Ezra, Scott and Quinn. We will have many fond cherished memories of her.

I am at a loss for words to express my grief following the loss of Frances. She was more like a sister than a Sister-in-Law and even though she lived to 102 will be very missed. I send condolences to all her family. especially Barry and Linda and Bonnie, who she loved dearly and wish you all Lon Life. Frances I will always have a picture of you dancing in my heart and I hope you know you left your mark on this world.

I am at a loss for words to express my sorrow at the passing of Frances. She was more like a sister than a sister-in-law who I met when I was 9 years old back in London. I send my deep sympathies to all her family whom she loved so much and wish you all Long Life. Frances - I will always have a picture of you dancing in my heart - and she certainly loved to dance. Condolences in Frances' passing. Frances z'l and Jack z'l were friends of my late parents, Pearl and Nat Goodman, as well as their friends Freda and Jack Leader, all of blessed memory. They used to have get togethers at my parents' house on Marathon Crescent at Bathurst and Drewry and have good times together in the 1960s and 1970s I have a feeling that they may have been at my wedding in the late 1960s. May all of your good memories comfort you through your sadness. I'm sure you have many of them to cherish.

Her passing conjures up a lifetime of memories....from our first meeting in London, 'way back in 1959, and the family emigrating to Toronto, and our friendship continuing.
