Fred Baker, beloved husband of Eleanor. Loving father of Miriam & the late Laurence. Devoted Son of the late Rachel, & Lawrence Baker. Son-in- law of Min and the late Philip Givens. Brother-in- law of Michael and Wendy Givens.

Dear Eleanor and Miriam When I last spoke with Fred, I mentioned that I had just got a box of poker chips to play Texas Hold-em and remembered the occasional Friday night poker games at his place when we were in high school. He reminded me that If he called, before I left my house, my mother would tell him to tell me to eat my supper first!! This is a sad time, and I wish the two of you the very best, from my heart.

Dear family; I am so sorry to read of Fred's passing. I met him at law school over 50 years ago and we touched base often ever since. We spoke a few months ago and I was sad to hear of his son's death and of his personal struggles. I wish that I had taken him up on his invitations to go sailing. It was his passion!
