MANDEL, Fred Sam – Peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital, on Saturday, February 12th, 2022. Fred, beloved husband of Sylvia for over the last 47 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Robin and Matthew. Cherished Zaidie of Zachary and Sophie. Dear brother of the late Wayne. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and close friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Colorectal Cancer Canada (https://www.colorectalcancercanada.com/).

The family will be observing Shiva at 18 Chaya Sara Gardens, Maple, L6A 0Z6. Shiva visitors are welcome Monday to Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Shiva concludes Thursday morning, February 17th.

Date of Death: Saturday, February 12, 2022

Yahrzeit Day: Adar I, 11

Date of Funeral: Monday, February 14, 2022

Robin, my heart is breaking for you, Sylvia and your family! I have so many memories of your dad. He was an amazing, kind and friendly man with who beamed with love when he saw your babies, and they for him. He was one of the greatest Zaidie’s. We always had great talks and he always made me smile. He will be missed by all.
