Gail Goodman (Nee Shapiro) born May 5, 1940 in Toronto , passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Gail is survived by Gary, her beloved husband of 62 years, her children Ellen (Bob) and Samuel (Illana), and her grandchildren Suzie (Justin), Lindsay, Ryan, Cole and Alexis. Gail will be remembered for her warm heart, and endless generosity.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Yahrzeit Day: 24 Shevat

Date of Funeral: Monday, February 24, 2025

Time of Funeral: 12:00 PM

Memorial Service Location: Graveside Service

Burial Service Location: Jones Ave Cemetery : 462 Jones Ave, Toronto, M4J 3G3

Shiva Details: 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm daily and will conclude Thursday evening. Prayers daily at 8pm.

When we met Gail so many years ago, she not only embraced and loved Ilana but our whole family. We hadn’t been in contact for the last few years as sadly, life happened. I have known her since she and Donna z’l and I worked at Health Bread -Eglinton.
