I always enjoyed going to Gary's sports card show and meeting all the hockey player alumni guests he hosted. He was a true gentleman who treated everyone with an equal and deserving respect and humility. Prayers to the family for this huge loss.

Very sorry to hear about Gary’s passing. We first met many decades ago at the Spadina Y, lost contact them found each other much later when our sons played hockey together. When I had a store he helped me by arranging stars to come to the store for autograph signing. It was always enlightening to hear his sport stories.

I just wanted to say that my father, Gary Frankl was a great role model for me. I have so many fond memories of our times together from playing catch baseball in front of our house, to going to the CNE, to him taking me to see hockey's games. My Dad, ALWAYS put me and my brother Elliott first, ALWAYS. I will miss him so much, but I know he has been struggling for many years and is in a better spot now. I'm glad I was able to talk to him yesterday and practically everyday and hear his voice, and he heard mine. He worked very hard to provide for all of us, and I can say I'm so proud of him. His only grandson Levi will miss him very much, but Levi does have fond memories, like him carrying Levi onto his condo balcony and looking outside. Levi really liked that. Levi also just loved to talk to his Grandpa. He impacted Levi in a very positive way. DADDY I LOVE YOU !!! Your son and grandson, Jason and Levi

Due to the uprise in Covid-19 numbers in the community, Steeles Memorial Chapel will be suspending chapel services until further notice. Graveside services will be limited to 25 people including clergy. Masks are to be worn by all that attend gravesides services.

The abhorrent acts committed by the globally recognized terrorist organization Hamas on the citizens of Israel are reprehensible. The blatant disregard for humanity and the destruction they have inflicted on our homeland and its people is heartbreaking. These atrocities have absolutely devastated our communities and many others around the world.

While Hamas may be working to create division amongst inhabitants of our homeland and throughout the globe, it is now more important than ever to stay unified as one.
