Sad day for anyone who knew and loved George. A true mensch who saw through things properly and always with a smile. A great family man who made family occasions sparkle. My second favorite dance partner who enabled me to get through many occasions.

We met George and his friends at a Mirvish play in the lobby. Very friendly, kind most humble. We went out a few times, he hardly knew me, and tried to get my son an apprenticeship. The handful of times we saw him, one was seized by his honesty and straightforwardness. A very good guy with no airs. Rest in peace. Vera and Laurie
