It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Rothauser on October 5, 2024. George was the lifelong partner and loving husband to his wife Rena, sharing 54 years of marriage. Beloved father of Michael and Shelley. Cherished father in law of Sandra and Arthur. Adored grandfather of Jacob, Evan, Abby, and Eden. As well as special brother in law to Ron and wife Marina. Our father was a man of great strength and determination being the only son of Holocaust survivors. Dad exemplified loyalty and love to all, as well as a lifelong friend to many. Dad was truly the nicest man you could ever meet, he was kind, generous and hardworking. He taught the family the importance of being together and enjoying every moment to its fullest. Dad had a passion for the outdoors and spent all of his leisure time at the family cottage. As we say goodbye, let us remember and cherish all the lessons he shared with us, the love and many sacrifices he made. Let his life and spirit guide us forward with dignity and respect. Dad you will be missed by all of us, but we know you’ll be watching us forever. Thank you for everything. WE LOVE YOU!
