Gisele Mamann (nee Amselem) passed away peacefully on the 9th of Tishrei (October 4th) just prior to the commencement of Yom Kippur.

Gisele was born in Casablanca in 1935 and is the second child of the six children of Jacob Amselem z’l and Fortuna Amselem z’l.

She was a beloved wife of Max Mamann z’l and proud mother of 5 children Liz Elmaleh, the late Michelle Gozlan z’l, Guidy Mamann, Alden Mamann and Yael Beigel.

She was the proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren Alana, Melissa, Tara, Jessica, Amanda, Jonny, Hannah, Shoshana, Rebecca, Tova, Eli, Talia, Ariella, Noah, Adam, Ari and Alon.

Gisele became a great-grandmother on August 25th with the birth of her first great-grand-daughter Maya Olivia.

Gisele was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild and was also devoted to her synagogue, Tiferet Israel Congregation.
